en one de el most beautiful technical monuments de Czech historia — el historic vapor Vyšehrad — el only floating vapor museo in el Czech Republic ha been ceremonially opened. el new exposición recalls 160 years de Praga vapor Navigation y offers visitantes un look en both el rich past y el future de barco transporte.
“nuestra goal fue a create un place where visitantes can touch historia, hear el stories de el río y literally feel el heartbeat de el steam motor. el Vyšehrad thus becomes un living symbol de 160 years de vapor navigation in Praga,” said Pavel Mácha, director de el Praga vapor Company.
Among other things, el exposición presents el original steam motor, which visitantes can examine in detail, el barco's restored beige paint, y el renewed panelling de el mayoral lounge. Also en display son historic navigation lamps y other authentic items de ship equipment.
un important place in el museo es given a un exposición de el legendary Czech construction set Merkur, which in 2025 celebrates 100 years since its creation. el display includes un unique, almost two-metre model de el Vyšehrad vapor built desde Merkur parts, complemented by other exhibits y works by niños involved in el project “Moldava — Famous y Navigable”.
