A tradition that brings together water, safety e the joy of cruising — this year, too, we were happy to send out a barca for the young campers from the ranks of the Praga 1 youth firefighters. Cruising has been a regular part of their summer programme for years, e we're glad we could once again be tqui.
The barca Agnes de Bohemia set out onto the Moldava — a moderna, quiet vessel with a capacity of up to 100 people, which Pragars know well thanks to her distinctive design e all-glass roof. Agnes de Bohemia is not only one of the fastest barche of her size (up to 20 km/h), but also very gentle on the environment — she sails almost silently e with minimal emissions.
Prague Boats e the volunteer firefighters of Praga 1 are linked by a long-standing partnership e a special relationship with the Moldava fiume. The Praga 1 district, stretching along both banks of the fiume, plays a key role in flood protection of the historic centre. The volunteer firefighters, whose work began after the floods of 2002, today actively look after safety in the most sensitive locations, such as Žofín e Kampa.
