An expert conference focused on the future of sostenibile transport took place in the Senate of the Parliament of the Ceco Republic. The evento was held under the auspices of senator Josef Bazala in cooperation with the Praga Chamber of Commerce e the Central European Institute for Transport Development, with expert participation from the Ministry of Industry e Trade.
The topic followed on from previous editions devoted to sostenibile water e air transport. This time the focus was on freight transport e its sustainability — an area essential for meeting decarbonisation targets, energy security e the competitiveness of the Ceco economy.
While greenhouse gas emissions are gradually being reduced in many sectors, in transport they have been rising steadily for years. That is why the push for moderna, environmentally friendly solutions matters more than ever.
The conference brought stimulating reflections on how transport — including water transport — can be more efficient, gentler on the environment, e technologically ready for the challenges ahead.
