About the boat

Hol Ka is a modern ferry boat. You can take a ride on it in the season within the ferry P4 between Velká Chuchlí and the interface of Modřany and Hodkovičky. The dock is formed by the stops Belárie and Dostihová.

The ship, operated by the Prague Steam Navigation Company, was built with passenger comfort and local specific conditions in mind. The most important criteria were the basbarrier and the draft of the ship.

It got its name Hol Ka by combining the first letters of the words Holešovice and Karlín, i.e. the part of Prague that used to be connected to the island of Štvanice.
