Křižovník Island (Křižovnický ostrov) is one of the lesser-known Prague islands. It lies below Charles Bridge on the right bank of the Vltava.
The island begins below the pier supporting the Old Town Bridge Tower. A remnant of the former Judith Bridge — one of its piers — can still be seen on the island. The adjacent arch of the Judith Bridge is built into the Grand Master's building of the Crusader Knights' monastery (Křižovníci). A branch of the Vltava still flows beneath it. The already small Křižovník Island was reduced even further during the redesign of Křižovnické Square in the 19th century.
We can take you alongside Křižovník Island aboard our boats and steamboats for example on a romantic evening eco-cruise with prosecco or the one-hour sightseeing cruise through the city centre.
